Garden: The hotel's garden was an absolute delight. It felt like stepping into a secret, enchanting world where time stood still. I half expected to see fairies frolicking among the flowers! It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, surrounded by nature's beauty.
Parking: Bit tight but not an issue.

The room at Yr Hen Ysgol was absolutely charming, with a quaint and cozy feel that made me instantly feel at home. The two bathrooms with bath or shower options were a great touch, adding convenience and flexibility to my stay. As a guest who values comfort and relaxation, this was a perfect fit for me.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the two bathrooms with only a shower. However, I understand that some guests might prefer this arrangement, so it's just my personal preference.

I keep coming back to this place because it's perfect for me. The staff gave me a cold drink once which made me happy. They have everything I need: Wi-Fi, car park, dryer, kettle. I love the cycling, fishing, golf, and beach access. No pets or smoking. I'll be back for Christmas!

My family and I recently stayed at the charming Yr Hen Ysgol, The Old School in a peaceful location. The house was full of character and very comfortable, and we loved the beautiful scenery surrounding the property. The bedrooms were spacious and the facilities excellent. We were even greeted with a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate our son's birthday! There was a lovely hotel bar with a terrace nearby, perfect for relaxing. we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this property.
The showers were a bit difficult to adjust, with even small changes in the temperature dial resulting in freezing water. It would also have been great if we could have split another double bed into twin beds and had larger beds for couples.
